The Company shall make a significant effort to improve the safety and health of its employees during the hours of their employment and will commit the necessary resources to achieve this goal in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. To further the objectives of this program, each supervisor shall conduct bi-weekly informational meetings with employees and as appropriate, health, safety and ergonomics issues will be discussed and employee input solicited. The company will designate and post a bi-weekly safety awareness schedule. This schedule will be audited and documented to confirm compliance. Bi-weekly meetings will be conducted in quiet areas of the plant. Employees will be encouraged to communicate health and safety concerns during the bi-weekly (every other week) during one of the regularly scheduled huddle meetings. Supervisors will attempt to resolve the problem. If the problem can not be resolved a Safety Awareness form may be completed by the employee. A copy of the form will be provided to the employee, supervisor, Union committee person and the Safety Committee. The employee will be informed when the problem is resolved. The Safety Awareness Form is to be designed by the Safety Committee.
