UAW Local 3520 once on the site click on donate. Next page check the Participant registration cash or check. This will allow you to pay latter.
After you join go to participant center under where you sign in and out. You now
have your own page you can state your own reason for relaying. Now you can
E-mail friends and family invitations to visit your personal page and send
updates. browse around there is some really good information on the site.
You can track the e-mails you send and see who opens them and who actually looks
at the site. You can have friends and family donate under your name to help you
reach your individual goal. If you don't mind using your bank card online, When
you do raise money you can donate it online instead of trying to get up with me
or Juanita.
Use this site to manage your individual fundraising that you do, each team member is required to raise at least a hundred dollars. It’s up to you how you choose to do it. If you have received raffle tickets or merchandise to sell you can use that money toward your individual goal. Or if you are excepting Kevin Barnett’s challenge of $25.00 a month until May, you can also use that toward your goal or if someone you know is excepting the challenge but not a member have them donate under you.
SALISBURY MALL- If anyone has a fundraising Ideal that requires a little space, Juanita can get a space inside the Salisbury Mall. Advance notice is required.

Fundraising Ideas-
Yard sale @ the Rowan county fair grounds
(This could be a team effort I’m in process of finding out the details. If you have any unwanted Items, hang on to them) I have a place to store Items we get donated. I will keep you all informed.
Bake sale- Juanita would like to put together a bake sale. If anyone can bake or can get some bake goods donated call Junita Messick.
Ways you can help
Become a team member- $10.00 donation and you get a free Relay t-shirt for the walk
Help with Fund raising ideas now and for night of the relay
We need a big fundraiser we can do year after year.
We need some donated Items we can raffle and auction off the night of the relay
Help with Ideas for decorating our Relay tent (racing theme)
Get people you know to sign a cancer survivor form
Get the word out that we are trying to fill the wall out front of the nurse’s station with cancer stars. Stars are available in the nurse’s station.
Help sell raffle tickets.
Informing people they can go on line and donate, become a team member and buy luminaries in honor or memory of a loved one.
Luminaries surround and light up the track the night of the relay.
We also have luminary forms. Luminaries are $10.00
