UAW Local 3520 is showing support to Laid-Off Union Member LeTonya Sockwell and her son Wakil Harrison. Wakil is a student at Salisbury High School and has been chosen to attend People to People Ambassador Program trip to Europe (Italy, France, and Greece) June 29-July 19. Being laid off the expense of $7200 is quit a task for LeTonya, but with our support we can make this young man’s dream come true. The Community Service Committee will be holding a dog food drive at this month’s membership meeting (4/14). This dog food will be donated to the Humane Society and Faithful Friends Sanctuary at the Bark for Life event. To find out more about Bark for Life please visit THIS LINK.
